What this is:
For my high school senior project, I wanted to take on a challenge that would truly matter. That’s why I am training for and running a full 26.2-mile marathon—but the finish line isn't just about personal achievement. I am running to raise vital funds for Shriners Children’s Hospital, an organization that holds a deeply personal place in my family's heart.
Why Shriners
Lots of people have asked why I chose Shriners. The answer goes back to the 1970s, My mom was born with two of her fingers webbed together—she has always called them her "wonky fingers." Needing specialized medical care, my grandparents flew her out to the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incredible doctors and staff there performed surgery to separate her fingers, giving her the full use of her hands. Because of the Shriners, my mom grew up without limitations.
How Your Donation Helps:
My goal is to raise money to ensure that other children and families can receive the same incredible, life-altering care that my mom did all those years ago.

The Impact: 100% of the proceeds raised here will go directly to Shriners Children’s Hospital to support medical care, research, and patient programs.
